Enjoy a rare UK appearance by Paul Muldoon in this special solo reading, part of Poetry at the Print Room – a series of live readings by major contemporary UK and international poets.

Born in Portadown, County Armagh, in 1951, Muldoon published his first volume of poetry in 1973 with Faber & Faber. Since then, he has published eleven further collections of poetry, and in 2017 won the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry. For the last 30 years, he has been based in the US, where he has worked as a professor at Princeton and, until recently, as the Poetry Editor for the New Yorker. Often drawing on his experience growing up in Northern Ireland, he is playful, witty and erudite – and often considered as one of the greatest poets of his generation.
