Olivier Award-winning choreographer Russell Maliphant returns to The Coronet Theatre for a third season in maliphantworks3.

Following the Southbank Sky Arts Award winning programme of 2017, and 2018’s 5 star review performances, this year the programme at The Coronet Theatre will include the world premiere of The Space Between – a duet for Maliphant and Fouras developed with video artist Panagiotis Tomaras, deepening their first collaboration together on Silent Lines; the premiere of two specially commissioned films made in collaboration with photographer Julian Broad, and a revival of 2018’s highlight Duet.

Maliphant’s work is characterised by a particular approach to flow and energy and an ongoing exploration of the relationship between movement, light and music. The Coronet Theatre, with its unique and intimate environment, frames the work in a way rarely seen in conventional theatres today.
