Lail Arad & Jf Robitaille
Singer-songwriting duo Lail Arad and JF Robitaille return to The Coronet for the first time since 2020 for an evening of new songs and old favourites in our intimate candlelit bar.
Lail Arad and JF Robitaille have been performing together since meeting in 2016. Their collaborations have been championed by Lauren Laverne (BBC 6 Music), John Kennedy (Radio X) and Grant Lawrence (CBC Music). Their songs were recently featured in the movie Tripped Up (Universal Pictures) and their long-awaited full length album will finally be released this summer. They are delighted to return to The Coronet, where they filmed their music video for The Photograph in 2018.
“The Photograph… one of the best songs I’ve heard in a long time.” ~ Lauren Laverne, BBC 6 Music
Lail Arad is a London-born singer and writer, known for her sharp lyrics, arresting voice and singular live shows. She has released two acclaimed solo albums, published a book of lyrics, toured extensively, opened for the likes of Television and Ezra Furman, had a baby, written a novel, not in that order.
Lail is also the producer/curator of The Songs Of Joni Mitchell, which debuted at the Roundhouse last year with guests including Vashti Bunyan, Jesca Hoop & Kate Stables (This Is The Kit). The show was picked up for a UK tour, which also sold out, and has just announced a longer run for the UK/Ireland/France in autumn 2025.
