Seoul Manner By Bek Hyunjin

(This is a past event and is no longer running)

Cult Korean musical, artistic and film icon Bek Hyunjin makes his first live appearance in the UK

For only two intimate nights Bek will perform tracks from his as yet unreleased album, Seoul Manner, and from his acclaimed 2019 album Light, Many. Bek performs with his 6 piece band, who have collaborated with him for many years producing their distinct high energy style, in which the sound matches the emotional impact of his lyrics.

Bek Hyunjin’s authentic portrayals of a villainous CEO in Taxi Driver and an oppressive executive in the film Samjin Company English Class have cemented his position as a household name in Korea. But Bek’s identity extends far beyond these roles. A multifaceted singer, composer, visual artist and film director, he has amassed a huge following in the South Korean Indie music scene. With vivid lyrics, his work comes from his lived experience, expressed with both passion and a rhythm that is hard to resist.

In a rare opportunity to encounter this extraordinary artist, and hear his new album before release, Seoul Manner is not to be missed.
