Following our critically acclaimed Korean Festival Tiger is Coming in 2022, The Coronet Theatre is proud to present a major showcase of Taiwanese culture in Spring 2024. This month-long programme will premiere pioneering artists to the UK across dance, music, visual art, and physical theatre, VR and immersive experiences in the heart of London’s Notting Hill.
This incredible festival features a specially commissioned, large-scale piece by world renowned installation artist Cheng-Tsung Feng encasing the Coronet Theatre’s façade, cutting edge choreography from Hung Dance and Anarchy Dance Theatre, brand new theatre from the prestigious Riverbed Theatre company, intimate gigs from music artist Yujun Wang, the return to the UK of experimental Edinburgh Fringe favourite Tomato, and a series of workshops and free exhibitions.
“Upon visiting Taiwan, I was immediately inspired by the diversity and innovation driving its arts scene. Having fallen in love with the bold creativity of Taiwanese arts, I am thrilled to share this adventurous and varied programme with our audiences.” – Anda Winters, Artistic Director & CEO
